Evaluation

Implementation startswith the real operation.

A useful inventory implementation begins with the items, locations, operating roles and decisions your team actually makes. Hovera supports a deliberate move from spreadsheets or existing records without promising a generic rollout timeline.

Discover the operating picture

Start by mapping where stock is held, used and received; who records each movement; and which decisions depend on a trusted inventory picture. The aim is not only to migrate a list, but to establish the locations and responsibilities behind it.

Prepare data before it becomes stock

Item lists, storage areas, opening balances and historical usage can be imported from spreadsheets. A dry run identifies problem rows before opening stock is written. Review the business meaning of units, lots, serials and expiry fields before deciding what belongs in the starting record.

Pilot a representative workflow

Choose a representative path such as receiving, counting, a site report, a planned transfer and receipt. That keeps the implementation focused on the operational hand-offs that give the data value, rather than on a superficial import alone.

Keep ownership after launch

Agree who owns ongoing data quality, access, approval rules and process review. A customer-hosted deployment also needs clear organisational responsibility for its infrastructure and network environment.
