Deployment

Inventory without public internet.Be precise about offline.

Hovera can run without a public internet connection on customer-controlled infrastructure, including its built-in map. Users access it in a browser through their organisation’s network.

What can operate without public internet

The application runs on your organisation’s own infrastructure. Inventory records, planning views, replenishment workflows and the included map do not depend on an external cloud account or outside map service when users can reach the organisation’s server.

What a browser needs

A user’s browser still needs a path to the Hovera server through the organisation’s network. This can be an isolated network; it does not need public internet access. The requirement is network reachability to your own installation, not an internet connection to a third-party service.

What a phone draft means

The field report experience can keep a draft on the device, and resubmitting after a dropped connection avoids creating a duplicate report. A saved draft is not a promise of disconnected-device synchronisation: the report must reach the organisation’s network to be submitted.

Plan the operating boundary

Before deployment, identify where users will connect from, which sites have network access to the installation and what the reporting process should do during a temporary interruption. Demonstrate the actual workflow in the environment you plan to operate.

Discuss the network your team operates on.

We can start with the sites, browsers and operational constraints that matter to you.
